The point may well be that you are learning the material not by level. From experience I know that if you correctly distribute the load, as well as select educational and entertainment literature + books + films in English in accordance with the current level of knowledge, boredom and unwillingness to learn usually does not happen.

There is one more problem - lack of learning goal, clear motivation to continue learning.

Yes, the brain does not want English.

And my brain does not want trigonometry, but it is quite friendly with foreign languages. There are such different brains.

Perhaps you should concentrate on other activities and not torment yourself especially with English.

There is no time in life to break through walls with your head.

Elementary: You are bored. You are not interested in learning English. And no wonder: what can be interesting in memorizing words and parrot repetition of their pronunciation? If only you have a mega-goal and strong motivation (well, for example, you crave to watch English-language films in the original, or dream of communicating with foreigners) - then this will invigorate your brain when learning a language.

I think it's a psychological effect. trying to unwittingly avoid stress, complexity. perhaps you are afraid of failure.

or maybe you already give yourself a lot of work and talk about "trying to understand after N hours of work", yes. unlikely, but cannot be discounted. if we are talking about this, then laziness and fatigue here are defense mechanisms.

untrained brain. in its pure form sounds rather strange. but there are options. For example, with clip thinking, the ability to understand long texts and practice for a long time decreases and the very "fatigue" is quite likely. you need to gradually get used to it. and reduce the number of consumed posts, videos, etc.

this option is more likely with physical activity. for some, "fatal fatigue" after training is due not only to being unaccustomed, but also to trying to avoid further ones.

Sergey Soveliev in his book "The Origin of the Brain" explains this by the fact that the brain at peak load consumes a quarter of all human resources. It is unnatural for our animal nature to think. Too expensive to do.
