Answer 1
January, 2021I do not consider this harmful and I myself actively practice, everything except perhaps weed. Beer, it goes much better with games, but masturbation is sacred and nowhere without it.
Answer 2
January, 2021I proceed from the principle that "time spent with pleasure is not wasted time". Games give a lot of positive emotions and the opportunity to learn a lot of new things, to be in someone else's shoes, to move in time, etc. a lot of things that are fundamentally impossible in "real life". And real life itself, with its standards, is a rather conventional thing. Especially if you realize your insignificance against the background of the Universe - both in terms of size and in terms of age :)

January, 2021Now almost all games have a social component. We still need to get some weed - this also presupposes some kind of contacts. The last point is more personal, but the porn industry also forms some kind of communities around itself. So the minimal social activity in one form or another will be present anyway.

January, 2021Well, here, in fact, to each his own. The bottom line is that a person gets the same buzz from social activity (dopamine is conditionally produced) as from drugs.
This is a purely biological thing - he has set himself the goal of making money on vacation. Earned it, got dopamine. If you want a car, after a hard year of work you buy it, you got a dose of dopamine. Promoted at work - a little more dopamine.
Someone does not need all this, self-realization, improvement, learning something new, reaching the top - and this is absolutely normal. Video games, weed and masturbation are the basics of male pastime, if someone devotes his life to this, one can only rejoice.
I do not consider these points harmful. I consider it harmful to lack a sense of proportion in relation to them. It cloudes, does not allow to look at things soberly and develop.
