The Society is Against Suicide, and I am also against it. But hypothetically, this question is linked to the question of euthanasia. In theory, a person should have every right to dispose of his own life, and convenient means for realizing his will - on the one hand, this is good. On the other hand, the issue of suicide, in my opinion, is a matter of mental health. Or pressure on the human psyche. I think that in most cases a person needs psychological or psychiatric help, not help in fulfilling the desire behind which there is a problem that can be solved. The presence of convenient centers, it seems to me, will only increase the number of suicides, because many are protected from such a step by the difficulty and inconvenience of the process, plus unsuccessful attempts. I know that there are people who eventually overcome the urge to commit suicide, I know that there are those who then become a happy person and remember their thoughts or attempts with a smile. If everything is so simple, the person will not have a chance, he will simply come to the center in a moment of despair and make a mistake. I think an answer from a psychiatrist or psychologist would be good here. How sane and balanced decision can be a decision to commit suicide. I personally think this is almost always a solvable mental health problem.

You also want to regulate suicide in our already bureaucratized and regulated society to the limit? As soon as a man was going to climb into a noose, how to grab his hand the policeman: you are naughty, brother, but where is the certificate, where is the license? First fill out the paperwork, then go to the suicide box. Well, suggest this to Yarovaya, maybe she uses your idea in some next crazy law, for example, "The Law on Compulsory Voluntary Euthanasia of the Opposition."

Because baby boxes are meant to save lives, not to deprive them. So they are not more like suicide booths, but more like free psychological help.

And with whom then the state to shake money? And, in principle, it is not humane, costly, and dirty. It will be easier to legalize euthanasia. In short, the first sentence is the answer to your question.

P.S My opinion.
