Rich people are not idiots in any way, and if there was a chance to find at least some opportunity to extend life for a serious number of years, they would have tried to do it long ago. All this news about successful experiments in rejuvenation is nothing more than a beautiful fairy tale.

Well, there is no way to prolong a person's life, the brain is aging irreversibly, and it is more important than an "immortal" (forever young) body and there is no way to rejuvenate it and in the coming centuries, you can fantasize as much as you like about transplanting consciousness into another body or two-hundred-year-old cyborgs.

A hundred-year-old man with the appearance of a 20-year-old boy and with senile dementia or Parkinson's disease, how is that? And for this to invest billions of dollars without a guarantee of success? I repeat, they are not idiots!

Look at David Rockefeller (102 years old), he had 7 (!) Heart transplants, guess why?

Everything is very commonplace: they simply cannot imagine what could be better. This applies to everything, including this issue. Let's start with the fact that capital holders have one goal in life - to make a profit. Just try to remember which of the wealthy people have invested significant sums in any long-term but promising development. And not anyhow, but those that will be used by at least a fifth of the world's population. I can only remember Uncle Billy so far. The same one. It is understandable, because a person whose ingenious invention you, dear reader, use every day for 6-22 hours a day, sees the future perfectly.

But no matter how beautiful fairy tales about geniuses are, the behavior and thinking of most rich people is very prosaic. Such a contingent is not used to serious experiments with technology. They got used to this: he gave money, and after a year or two received 2/3/10/100/9000 times more. All. They want quick money and are not interested in the very slow research process. It's the same with medicine. Many consider its level to be not sufficient, but to invest serious money in something that you yourself will not see - such people are not used to doing that.

Nevertheless, I have an assumption that there are still those few who know where to invest in order to get immortality almost tomorrow. But they deliberately do nothing of the kind. The point is, they need a mass control tool. That's right, religion. The fact is that if you invest very seriously in medicine, then technologies that can significantly increase life expectancy will quickly become easily available. No encryption will help here - the population is constantly growing and there will always be smart people from the people. And if you give an ordinary person immortality, then his need for God will disappear. All. He no longer wants to plow for his uncle under fear of a fabulous creature in the sky. And these are riots, stoppage of production, ruin and so on.
