Thirst most often accompanies the hot season. Cold water, irritating the receptors of the mouth, creates a feeling of coolness, and thus it seems to us that thirst has been defeated. In fact, I do not recommend drinking cold water to quench your thirst, as this can cause local hypothermia and provoke inflammation. Water at room temperature is optimal for quenching thirst.
