Evidently evolution "considered" that tasty or not tasty food - you will eat it anyway and will not die, so you shouldn't worry about it and try to push development in the other direction
Regarding the second part of the question, I can say the following. There is such a people on our planet - the Eskimos. Due to the peculiarities of their habitat, their diet consists almost entirely of animal products: meat from walruses, seals, belugas, deer, polar bears, birds and their eggs. Farming in such a climate is impossible, therefore their only plant food is a variety of tubers, roots, berries and algae. And nothing, they live their whole life without vegetables, they don't complain.
As for the taste of food, it seems to me to be a matter of habit.
