I think no one likes to look at something terrible. If a person is drawn to watch horror, then something is already wrong with such. Do you watch horror movies? Crime news? And is it getting used to you? Our society amazes such people. We are a society of indifferent people. Anger, hatred and most importantly! Fear ! It gives rise to seemingly normal people to cross the line and become monsters, murderers, sadists, cannibals. Where is the line that a person crosses and goes to a heinous crime? Sometimes composure leaves when on the Internet you see the results of a terrible crime of people, or rather nonhumans. It's sad. The death penalty cannot be abolished !!!
For most people, this causes a sharp rejection, and, I will insert my opinion, it's good. I hope it will stay that way in the future.
For myself, the people about whom the author asked, I divide into quite normal and not quite. With the latter, I think everything is clear: those who have deviations, such as sadism, masochism (I have read more than once how some people like to imagine themselves in the victim's place (judging the reliability of what is written on the Internet is a dubious thing, but I see no reason not to believe in existence similar)) and other reasons that may lead to a different perception of shock content. For example, an event associated with death can leave a strong mark on the head of one person, which, under the confluence of circumstances, in the future may lead to the fixation of this image as positive (unlikely, since the effect is usually the opposite), or it may not have any effect on the other, leaving the maximum memory. As you can see, the action depends on the degree of susceptibility of each. Naturally, for the majority this will not be a discovery, if only because of the frequent appearance of such stories among movie / literary heroes explaining their behavior. Incl. even a person who is not interested in the topic, but has watched / read at least a couple of films related to it, will have an idea of the reasons for this behavior. Specialist. The videos, the purpose of which is cruelty and dismemberment in themselves, are designed for this group, the average person will not like this, so further talking about shock content I do not include snuff there.
The first group is more difficult. Still, in the literal sense, an ordinary person will not like this, although from the outside it may seem so. If by this word we understand the desire to look (it does not always mean joy at the sight of something like that, a person may have motives that he himself is not aware of). Some are watching for lack of thrill, and unnatural situations are just right for them to appear. Simple curiosity is also possible, which is normal for a person. Some people “like” to look because of the incoming feeling of fragility of life and, despite this, the safety of their own, and real pictures help in perception. Depending on how easily people die (those who like to look at the corpses of animals belong to the second group, because I haven't noticed any deep motives yet), often even because of stupid things, thoughts of their own death and a further feeling of relief may appear. that in the place of that person is not you. That is, no matter how contradictory it may seem, watching shock content can bring some comfort. Fighting the fear of your own death.
Many people who like to look at a dismemberment usually perceive a body that is dismembered not in terms of human parts, but as if it were parts and / or parts of a car. This approach allows you not to experience feelings of disgust and gagging. With the frequent practice of dismembering the human body, a certain mental disorder may arise and then it will simply become a habit. Do not forget that for some this is part of the mandatory work (pathologists, physiologists). People who like to look at a dismemberment must have certain deviations and sadistic tendencies. Many, for example, tortured their pets in childhood, then grew up and began to cause pain not only to animals, but also to other living beings.
we have already moved far enough away from the primitive society, for which it was in the order of things, so if a person likes to watch a dismembered woman and he gets high, then these are signs of mental deviation. I don’t know as pathologists, honestly, but I’m just disgusted and it’s scary to look at this if it’s a person. but as an almost veterinarian I’ll say that when an animal is in front of you, it’s perceived somehow differently, calmly, but there’s no buzz from it, and I don’t say that it’s nice to see.
