The main reason is heredity. If one of the parents has a similar defect, then the likelihood that the child will have crooked legs is very high. Lack of calcium and vitamin D in the body can also lead to deformity of the legs.

In men, the X-shape of the legs is often caused by obesity. Also, X-shaped legs in men can be associated with regular heavy lifting.

Professional engagement in some sports can also lead to the defect in question (for example, in male soccer players). Congenital or acquired weakness of the muscles and ligaments of the lower extremities are also common causes of the problem. Lack of regular physical activity, a sedentary lifestyle are the main factors due to which the development of the disease begins.

I must disappoint you - women also often have crooked legs. But even normal (ideal) legs are what? This is when a woman looks at her shadow with her legs together. If there are 3 gaps between the legs, then the legs are "correct", and if there are 2, then they are not. So, as you can see, even in the most ideal ideal we are not talking about straight legs, but about some form of legs.

Exactly - this is a ruler, a mop stick, a stretched thread. All this is not about us. =)
