Parents can give double messages, like "come here, go from here", they can control the child, they can not make him feel important, they can force him to do only what they consider important, they feel ashamed when they see their imperfection child (this may also be a reason not to admit your mistakes, but to consider bulimia a child's fool). Parents also, at the expense of the child, reduce their anxiety, increasing it in the child, which in turn intensifies bulimia.
