March, 2021I'm certainly not an anthropologist, but in my opinion it is quite obvious that the African ethnos is one of the most ancient on earth. Humanity scattered across the land from Africa. It so happened that most of the time, many of the tribes were isolated and, due to the difficult living conditions, their life and culture did not change. Percussion instruments were the first among musical instruments and originated in Africa, for several thousand years neither the instrument itself nor the dance in their way of life changed, all the same rituals and traditions associated with dancing (calling rain, etc.) remained. Naturally, the people who have lived their whole lives in such conditions will have an innate, more subtle sense of rhythm, especially when it comes to percussion instruments.

March, 2021I'm not sure about better / worse, just different dances and music too. The perception of music among whites and African Americans is different due to historical and cultural development. There is even an anecdote among the musicians:
A black bluesman tells his friends: "Imagine, guys, I had a nightmare as if I was white and beating the rhythm to odd beats. I woke up sweating."
Indeed, as a rule, in "black" music the accents are at 2 and 4 beats, and in European music at 1 and 3. Well, conditionally, if you take one size 4 \ 4. In general, for example, African Americans believe that whites cannot be a priori good bluesmen, although blues is not the most difficult genre in terms of form. Whites don't have it in their blood - that's what they say. The exception is Johnny Winter. Also, if you look at the traditional music of Africa, the main instruments there are percussion. And the music is perceived rhythmically, sensually. In the West, the perception of music is melodic and rational. There is detailed research on this topic, google if interested.
