We have nothing to choose, our brain is a computer that clearly gives out a program of action. As they explained to me, we always find ourselves where we should be and have what is given to us. We do not make a choice, they have already made it for us.

Why imperfection. It is you who "give the brain" a contradictory task. And then you expect it to magically be executed.

You want your brain not to be stupid, but you yourself give it more tasks than it can perform. Well, of course they will run slower?

Or do you want your brain to work at an increased speed in times of stress? Well, evolution has just brilliantly solved this problem. When you are afraid and nervous, the brain just starts to work at increased speeds so as not to "dull". Naturally, this state will seem unpleasant, so that you do not foolishly kill your brain, constantly driving it at high speeds.

Therefore, in order not to be afraid or nervous, you need to train. Then some of the tasks will be performed "automatically", unloading the main part of the brain.

Being nervous, fearful and blunt is a protective function. More precisely, a set of protective mechanisms. Nervousness and others are explosive excitement or suppression that mobilizes the body's resources: changes blood flow, increases temperature, changes the internal environment, enhancing the biosynthesis of the necessary hormones.

And who said that we cannot. I do not know this. This is exactly what a person can do if he wants it. Our art is Tao and Zen. It was bequeathed by the great sages. The suppression of emotions creates a righteous heart, The energy of the cosmos fills the soul. And only then thoughts come. Teaching is natural and explicable by the nature of things. One day you will know the highest truth And you will understand that the predestination of man is Enlightenment. Infinity becomes clear and distinct. And there are no other ways to comprehend it. Movement in space is also transient and eternal, Like the rising and setting of the sun in the sky, There is no point in looking for a magic elixir Or to listen to the reasoning of sages about the Void. Throw away thoughts, feelings, and then the star of truth will shine again. Best regards.

It's quite the opposite. There is a mechanism, it is the pinnacle of the evolutionary and competitive advantage - self-programming. You just don't use it, but hope for a magic button. The brain, like any organ, is trained. But people do not train either themselves or the brain in particular. But the program is not given to the brain by a simple desire for something, it requires effort and control. Therefore, the brain and the whole body, under its control, act according to the A-laid down instinctive genetic programs, and B-according to the acquired habitual reactions to stimuli. You are used to being scared, without controlling the process, and the brain and body act in accordance with these imperatives. You can simply wish, but an untrained brain does not know how to act differently. both sports, religious and technological practices of Kung Fu, Yoga, Qigong, Meditative practices, etc., and psychological. And just experienced people, if anyone is lucky, to have such in their environment I had to teach myself, by typing and for decades, I am still afraid, frightened and dull, but I can NOT show it, and I can cope with stress. It’s not me, I’m all so wonderful, but about the fact that everything said above is not from books, and thinking, but experience and awareness, well, of course, and most importantly, Practice. But everything works, if you do it. Self-programming, training yourself and the brain. But there are no magic buttons. This animal cannot realize and begin to train itself, the animal can learn (even animals learn !!!) only under the influence of the environment, under the influence of stimuli, stimuli, reinforced Experience. But a person just has a super-super competitive advantage, having the ability to change himself by volitional effort, making a decision on his own, and Knowing this. Isn't this a magic button of evolution, not its perfection? Learn to control yourself, and not blame nature doo.

Your consciousness is just a superstructure over other modes of operation, roughly speaking. If we take analogies from the world of computers, then consciousness is a top-level program - any applications are user-specific, but moments with fear, nerves and other things are low-level, like drivers for equipment.

Firstly, we do not give tasks to our brain, but it to us.

Secondly, "being nervous, afraid, dumb" is just one of the variants of a stress reaction that arose in the process of evolution the human body. The fact is that man, although many people now forget about this, is a very, very biological being. And from the point of view of biology and the survival of the organism, any emergency situation can be dangerous. In it, you must either run away with all your might, or fight, or fall and pretend to be dead (depending on the type of your nervous system, not on your personal choice). Intellectual work in this format is not provided. Therefore, under stress, the nature of the blood flow changes dramatically, blood rushes to the limbs. Solving logical problems or high self-control in such a situation is very few people (although there are such people, they are called stress-resistant). The brain simply has nothing to work on.

Third, as long as there are assumptions about what a "certain moment" is, then one can prepare for it (but not "give a task" when there is already something began to happen) - to work out several scenarios in advance, think over your tactics, outline ways of retreat in case they are needed. Then the stressful impact will be much less.

there is no evolutionary perfection - these concepts contradict each other. Evolution is a process of adaptation to reality that is constantly changing. This is your goal as an individual - to adapt as much as possible to constantly changing conditions all the time. If you can - pass on your genes further. If you fail, you will disappear, like millions of different species before you.

In such conditions, nerves and fear are quite useful qualities. They make a person move for the sake of their survival, even when well, they really don't want to. It was they who helped your ancestors not to perish and pass on their genes to you.

Answer 9
June, 2021

Why not perfection? If it interferes with a person, it does not mean that it interferes with the body. These emotions are an extension of the self-preservation instinct.

Answer 10

Evolution has nothing to do with it. We can stop being nervous, not being afraid, etc.
Well, the fact that you don't know how to do this is your fault.
Learn, train, and eventually you can.
