Legs are usually the first to get cold. As a result of reduced blood circulation, the blood no longer has time to warm them. In addition, it is believed that there are biological points on the feet associated with internal organs.

What about "all the cold from the feet" I'm not sure here. Any hypothermia leads to a decrease in immunity (including local. For example, greedily eat ice cream - a sore throat) and, as a result, an increase in the number of pathogenic microorganisms (bacteria or viruses).

It is not only from the legs, but there is a quite sensible explanation why we catch a cold at the very moment when our feet are frozen.

Blood circulates at a normal rate in the body. White blood cells - leukocytes - fight viruses. When you freeze, the blood begins to move more slowly, which means that the replenishment of defenders to the battlefield is reduced, as a result, the body loses the battle, but the war is just beginning. When the virus enters the body - the stress call for reinforcements begins - the temperature rises. And then the enemy is defeated, everything returns to normal. That's the whole cold.

I don't know how much this is confirmed, but there is such a scientific theory.
