Where to go to study if you want to get an education at the intersection of chemistry, biology, medicine and physics?

As a rule, the first 2 courses are the basis (matan, physics, engineering and computer graphics, mechanics (strength of materials), processes and devices of chemical technology and biotechnology, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biology, etc., etc.)

From the 3rd year, specialists (biotechnology, microbiology, selection of microorganisms, energy conservation, etc., etc.)

Specialties related to nanotechnology. In this area, such sciences as mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology are quite closely related, as well as some informatics. To work with nanotechnology, you need, at least, to know physics and mathematics, and partly chemistry, and to work with medical nanotechnology, you need to know biology well, and chemistry is better than the minimum level. Most likely, a little informatics will be required, since a nanotechnologist must be able to work with complex equipment and, possibly, 3-d printers. In my opinion, it is nanotechnology that combines all these areas of knowledge.

Medical physics. A very promising direction. The basis of this direction is physics and mathematics. Therefore, this direction exists only in the physics departments of universities. That is, you must first become a physicist, and only then a medic.

The Faculty of Biological and Medical Physics is aimed at training specialists competent in the fields of physics, biology and chemistry and at the same time possessing medical knowledge that allows them to work at the intersection of sciences. The XXI century is called the century of "living systems", since it is in these areas that the rapid technologization of knowledge takes place all over the world, associated with the success in decoding the human genome and microorganisms. The largest area of ​​application of new technologies is medicine. Education at the FBMF meets the current trends in its development.
