No, not really. Evening workouts can be as effective as morning workouts . Performance is entirely up to you.

If you are a “ early bird ”, it can really be hard to train in the evenings - your strength is running out. In this case, it is best to train in the morning before school / work, or at least finish it 4 hours before bedtime.

If you are a “ owl ”, then evening training will be even more effective than morning . People of this type are full of energy in the evening (which cannot be said about the morning time). And if you are tired during the day, you can drink coffee or a pre-workout complex half an hour before class.

If you want to lose weight, then by the number of calories burned, morning, afternoon and evening workouts are no different - it all depends on what kind of load you will have.

If you gain weight, then the time of the class does not mean anything either. The main thing is to eat a solid 1.5-2 hours or have a snack half an hour before training, then you will have the strength for a full-fledged workout.

Training cannot be completely ineffective. You will get more or less effect anyway. It is not the specific time of day that is important, but the regularity of the workouts and what kind of exercises they consist of.

However, the evening is really difficult to call the ideal time for training. Firstly, over the past day, your body is already pretty tired, so in the evening the loads are given to you harder. Secondly, the biorhythms of the human body are designed so that the greatest strength, endurance and performance are observed in the afternoon (from about 16 to 18 hours). After this, the capabilities of our body decline sharply, the body requires rest. Evening training "through force", alas, has minimal effectiveness. In addition, it can be difficult to fall asleep after a late workout, and insomnia and constant lack of sleep make you weaker.

According to scientists, it is best to train between 4 and 6 pm. Jogging in the morning is quite effective. Leave the evening for rest or relaxation exercises like yoga and light aerobics.
