Recommend the Daily Easy English Expression podcast

Pros for me:

  • short episodes, usually 5-7 minutes long. It is convenient to listen in the car, in the minibus and just on the run))
  • modern expressions that are 100% applicable in conversational practice
  • there are more than 900 issues already

Also, if you value your time, install the 6 Minute English (from BBC) mobile app

  • also short issues
  • the ability to choose the type of podcast - for working out grammatical construction, for conversational practice on a topic, for English literature, for news

Well, the British Council Podcast is also very good.

I have several programs on my phone for training. There is already mentioned Duolingo as well as LinguaLeo and 10 steps (vocabulary trainer).

Duolingo is divided into topics, where you can listen / speak, and write words or sentences. The element of the game is to collect hearts, which are saved with the correct answer and are lost with the wrong one.

LinguaLeo is more diverse - there are texts, music, videos, exercises (though not everything opens on the phone, on the computer it is better) ... But reading, learning words is convenient.

10 steps is the simplest, but also not bad. It's just a word trainer. Dictionary of 1296 words. Word in English. or its translation must be found from the list of the corresponding equivalent. Chosen 10 times correctly - it is considered that they have learned.

I like all 3. Each has its own goal, but if one is still tired of one, you can practice for another - variety.

Something like that :)

For the advanced level, I would recommend Luke's English podcast, a unique podcast with British English. In addition, there is not just a lecture / grammar all the time, the podcast seems to be divided into three parts: something related to culture (brexit, new film, etc.); talking to someone; in fact, the lexical and grammatical part. He helped me a lot in my Ielts.

I would also recommend Learn English with BBC and ESL (English as a second language).

For the very beginning, the application for android (I don't know if there is for other devices) duolingo is perfect.
As for me, it is very convenient and with my minimal knowledge at the level of the 3rd grade, I pulled it up to 6 :)) )
