January, 2021Everything came from the English-language memes That feel when and I know that feel. They can be used both as slang and in conjunction with pictures. The most popular is the picture Feels Guy - a meme face of Polish origin, which depicts a bald man with wrinkles on his forehead. You've definitely met him. The history of this meme is very long, interesting and connected with Poland.
It all started in 2009 on the vastness of the German imageboard Krautchan.net. This forum was quite popular among English-speaking Internet users. The meme is attributed to British user Falco, who drew a picture in October 2009 using MS Paint to troll Polish user Wojak, who wrote in broken English.
The meme was originally completely apolitical and was only used for trolling Wojak ' but then other users picked up the idea and began to draw comics with a bald sad man.
All these memes are used to express various emotions. Most often it is sadness, disappointment, situations from the category "I know this feeling", etc.
