No matter how trite it may sound, it is possible to improve the condition and work of blood vessels only with the help of an integrated approach.

It includes:

  • necessarily normalization of healthy sleep, rest, work;

  • quitting bad habits;

  • physical activity or at least walking;

  • taking angioprotectors

  • vitamin therapy (especially useful for blood vessels PP, C, E, group B)

  • correct, balanced nutrition;

  • using physiotherapy as directed by a physician.

If everything is clear with the rest and work regimen, then it should be noted about sleep that it should be at least 7 hours. In addition, do not go to bed too late, the body has biological hours of rest, try to fit into them and go to bed no later than 10-11 pm.

In order for physical activity to be beneficial, it is important to consult with doctor, not all sports can be useful, but Nordic walking or just walking for several hours in the park will definitely not hurt.

As for vitamins and medications, their appointment is strictly necessary. It is important to take tests and determine what exactly is missing in the body. Most often, doctors recommend vitamin and mineral complexes, where the composition contains vitamins of groups B, C, E, magnesium - they strengthen blood vessels. Also, vitamin B3 improves blood circulation, vitamin PP promotes vasodilation, which is good for high blood pressure. Also, to strengthen blood vessels and improve blood microcirculation, the peptide complex Vasalamin is used. It consists of natural building proteins that repair damaged vascular walls, thereby normalizing blood circulation throughout the body. Vasalamin is taken in courses several times a year with short interruptions, it has no contraindications, it acts gently and naturally.

A competent and regular approach aimed at strengthening blood vessels allows them to maintain their health for many years and has a positive effect on the work of everyone organs.

What is VSD?

I will try to explain this disorder as simply and easily as possible.

VSD is a term describing a number of disorders caused by a failure of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). There are many different forms, from mild to severe. It happens differently for everyone. Has different reasons and different development options. The most common of these are: neurocardiogenic syncope (NCO), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (SPOT), chronic fatigue syndrome (SCO), fibromyalgia and orthostatic instability (OH). I will focus on these types of VSD, which, although chronic in nature, are not life threatening and have the likelihood of healing over time. (Some other types of VVD cause slow degeneration of the nervous system and ultimately lead to death; but they are very rare, in newborns, or after serious injury and trauma, as well as in old age.)

What is the ANS?

The nervous system has many branches, and the ANS is the branch that controls the subconscious processes in the body - heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, sleep rhythm, sensory perception, visual reflexes, body temperature, etc. The ANS, in turn, also has two branches - the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) and the parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS). SNS is responsible for the response of the body, which can be characterized by the expression "fight or flight." This reaction allows you to quickly switch the body to an action mode in an extreme situation (increased heart rate and respiration, stopping digestion, dilated pupils, etc.)

Example: Let's say you, while walking in your yard, meet a criminal with a weapon aiming at your face - at this moment the brain sends a signal that triggers the SNS, since this is the moment to "fight or run." You can imagine how you will feel in this situation ...

For people suffering from VSD, this signal may be sent inappropriately or unnecessarily. T. about. they will feel a sense of fear and anxiety even when they are in a calm environment and do nothing. And when that subsides, the person will feel exhausted and exhausted. Which is natural, because the body has just worked "with all its might", but from scratch. You can call it an energy release.

PSNS performs almost the opposite functions. It controls the regeneration regime, i.e. the accumulation of energy in the body. PSNS activates digestion and slows the heartbeat with breathing (usually during rest). This mechanism works constantly, and not only at certain times. A failure of this mechanism can cause symptoms such as disturbed heartbeat, shortness of breath, constipation, and insomnia. This is familiar to sufferers of VSD.

What are the symptoms of VSD

The symptoms of VSD and related conditions vary greatly from patient to patient, manifest to varying degrees andcan alternate. You may have one set of symptoms today and a completely different one tomorrow. Even within one day or hour, changes can occur. This is very difficult to predict.

  • Some of the most common are:

  • Increased heart rate (tachycardia);

  • Decrease in heart rate below normal (bradycardia);

  • Different types of chest pains (in the chest area);

  • Decrease in blood pressure below normal (especially when moving to a standing position and when standing for a long time);

  • Sudden changes in blood pressure;

  • Dizziness, light head, loss of balance;

  • Feeling weak, sometimes fainting;

  • Hot flashes, cold sweats, chills, disturbances in the body's thermoregulation;

  • Anxiety and panic attacks;

  • Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, hyperventilation;

  • Headaches, migraines, pain and stiffness in the neck;

  • Neurological pain, tingling, numbness;

  • Tremors, tremors, externally expressed and not;

  • Decreased physical ability (sometimes disability);

  • Hypersensitivity to adrenaline;

  • Insomnia, sleep disorders, drowsiness;

  • Constipation, diarrhea, acid reflux and other digestive disorders;

  • Visual impairment (difference in acuity, fog before eyes, blurring);

  • Blurred consciousness, confusion, speech impairment, inability to concentrate;

  • Frequent urination, incontinence;

  • Frequent thirst;

  • Photophobia, auditory and olfactory hypersensitivity

  • Etc.

There are a lot of symptoms and here I have given far from all. Since VSD is a disorder of the whole organism, then it can manifest itself in different ways.

So where are the vessels and standing position?

When a person gets up, gravity naturally creates an outflow of blood to the lower body. During normal functioning, the brain, having received information about this, sends a command to the vessels to narrow, in order to direct the blood back to the heart and lungs, etc. stabilize blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen levels. Only after this is the body ready for further action. But for most people with IRR, this process does not work as it should (or it works, but it does not work). In this case, when standing up, blood also flows into the legs, but the vessels do not receive the command to shrink. The heart takes on the task of compensating for the drop in pressure in the upper half of the body and starts to work faster. In fact, it makes the problem worse. The brain, sensing a high heart rate to prevent a surge in blood pressure, sends a signal to the vessels to expand. As a result, the pressure drops too low and the brain and heart lack blood. That's why peoplewith VSD really feel weak, although from the outside it is imperceptible.

What are the causes of VSD?

Unfortunately, the causes of VSD are not yet fully understood, and can differ in each case. It is usually very difficult to establish the true causes, since there may be several of them, and a diagnostic complex has not yet been developed to identify them. The main suspected causes are: viral diseases, autoimmune disorders, head, brain or neck injuries, degenerative disorders of the nervous system, genetic factor, too rapid growth in adolescents, exposure to toxins and chemistry. Some are already born with some of them.

How to treat VSD?

Since there is no single cause of occurrence, and it is difficult to diagnose, this is undeniable that the treatment will be very different in each case and will generally be difficult to implement. It is believed that VSD is a chronic condition for which there is no cure. T. about. treatment is to control symptoms. Many people need an increase in fluid levels in the body to raise blood pressure, and an increase in salt intake contributes to this. Some people speak positively about the so-called compression stockings, although this method causes a lot of inconvenience. Often, a gradual increase in physical activity and moderate exercise can improve endurance and dull symptoms for a while. In general, a healthy lifestyle is essential to control symptoms.

There are a wide variety of supplements and vitamins that are desirable. There are also some medications that target specific symptoms. Some can raise blood pressure, some help control heart rhythms. There are agents that help to retain fluid in the body. Separately, there are medications to support the nervous system (helping with anxiety and sleep disorders). In general, the treatment of VSD requires a radical change in lifestyle and a lot of patience, since often effective methods are found through many trials and errors. What has helped one person may even harm another. According to my observations, most people struggling with VSD are sensitive to medications. It also complicates the task. In general, individual selection of medicines is a long and painstaking exercise, and if improvement does not come immediately, this does not mean that the remedy is not working. It may take some time to get the result. Also, when ingesting any substances, care must be taken.

P. S.

To end on a good note, here are two positive points for you:

Firstly, most cases of IRR can be cleared up and significantly corrected within 2-5 years;

Secondly, while the VSD begins to be considered by the medical community as a physiological disorder (as opposed to psychology alone), there will already be a ton of accumulatedresearch to help find more effective treatments.

I hope I helped someone. And let me remind you:

Take everything as it is, do not compare yourself with others. You do not need other people's goals, you should have exclusively your own. "Happiness is on the side of the contented."

Somatoform dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system (ADVS) is a condition characterized by impaired neurohumoral regulation of the activity of internal organs (cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract (GIT), respiratory organs, endocrine glands, etc.), code by ICD-10 F 45.3.

VVD (vegetative-vascular dystonia) in Russia is a diagnostic garbage chute, which doctors mold from illiteracy. It manifests itself in panic attacks, heart rhythm disturbances, breathing, pain in different areas in the absence of organic pathologies, hot flashes, etc. As a rule, with a more detailed diagnosis and a visit to a psychotherapist, you can identify the true cause of this kind of discomfort.
