My thought is more straightforward, although psychologists will say that I may have missed the point.

But spend an active day, do not eat at night, for example, after 6. W. Make sure that the room is calm, quiet.

IMHO. You can deal with your mind for a long time. But one thing is important - if you sleep soundly, then you will not see good or bad dreams.

Good sleep! :)

Well, a lot of people have written about stress, but nightmares also happen against the background of complete calmness and the absence of stress factors, what then?

As my teacher in diabetology (a very intelligent and respected woman) said, most often nightmares dream against the background of hypoglycemia, that is, if in a dream the body feels stress due to a lack of nutrients (glucose)

To avoid this, you need to eat right, do not overeat or starve before bed. I do not know about the general population, but I have nightmares most often in the middle of the night or in the early morning, and never had at the beginning of sleep, which, in principle, proves that hypoglycemia plays an important role in their occurrence.

As a child, I was scared by a dog, and therefore I began to have nightmares. This continued until my grandmother advised me to put a knife under my pillow. The nightmares stopped immediately.

The grandmother explained this by the fact that the dark forces are afraid of sharp objects, and I believed.

Probably, this phenomenon is explained by elementary suggestion, and will not help adults, but just right for children.

When I was 6-7 years old, I was sometimes "overwhelmed" and had the same nightmare for several days in a row.

I'm in my apartment. Evening night. Either I seem to myself somehow very small, or the rooms have become larger, but nevertheless my dimensions, as well as the dimensions of the rooms, are the same as always - there is just a feeling. It seems to me that a poltergeist has wound up in the apartment. I get very scared, I crawl under some kind of table (the body is wadded and cannot be served by the control, so even this was not always possible and sometimes I just lay on the floor in the middle of the room) and try to inform my parents about it, but I have nothing I can't say, and if it does, my parents don't seem to hear me. Moreover, I hear different sounds, rustles and how the poltergeist shouts at me, but, apparently, only I hear it. I also have a feeling that if I can’t tell anyone about this, something very bad will happen (the poltergeist will kill someone from his family, etc.). For a while, I sit under the table in a state of terror and helplessness, and then I wake up.

The funny thing is that when I had this nightmare, I realized that I was dreaming a nightmare, that I was dreaming. Every time I started to hear some rustles, sounds, etc. I was attacked by this helplessness - that, they say, right now it will start again, again this fear and agonizing expectation - when will it "let me go" and when will I finally wake up.

And then, during another nightmare, the thought occurred to me - since this is my nightmare, i.e. my dream, why should I be afraid of someone? I just crawled out from under the table, intending to shout something, like - ALO WE HERE A POLTERGEIST IN THE APARTMENT, took a breath and then another awesome idea came to me - since this is my dream, then I can do what I want? Well, then, without saying anything, I went out the window and began to create all kinds of heresy.

In general, I mean that if you dream about it really often, then sooner or later you will understand that somewhere you have already seen it, in short, you "realize" yourself in a dream, but then it's up to you

I would recommend taking a sedative, ventilating well and turning off the heating in the room before going to bed, changing the pillow and not disturbing your nerves before going to bed with Facebook and TV shows, and also thinking about vacation. In my life, a two-week migraine with nightmares at night was caused by horse stress and working 4 months seven days a week in the organization during a raider takeover. She quit her job, left for the sea - the nightmares are gone.

At one time, I happened to work as a "hack" on a site with horoscopes, love spells, talismans and other nonsense. The work is fun and uncomplicated, all the material was taken from the head, invented on the go, there was no question of any reliability.

Somehow I needed to write an article about nightmares and how to deal with them. The main condition is that there is more mysticism, well, no plagiarism. I don’t remember everything I came up with, but the main idea was this: if you want to get rid of nightmares, go and tell your loved ones in detail about them.

And just recently, I came across the fact that almost every night, I jumped up from really terrible dreams. A couple of times I even shed a tear, in general, so-so night entertainment. And at that moment I remembered the method that I once described, and you know, it helped! I recounted the nightmare to a friend in detail and, lo and behold, a calm and sound sleep.

I think this is an ordinary coincidence, but suddenly it will help someone.

Scientists believe that nightmares are a product of the human brain. Unpleasant emotions and impressions experienced by a person, unresolved internal conflicts are processed by the brain and neutralized in a dream with the help of nightly “horror films.”

Thus, we get a psychological reboot, get rid of unnecessary nervousness and stress. In the event that nightmares with a similar plot are repeated, we get a hint: at the subconscious level, there is a problem that needs to be worked out.

You should not be afraid of nightmares, because they are a product of our subconscious, which tells us: in our life has problems that we ignore or are simply afraid of them, we need to work on our character and way of thinking. Unpleasant dreams usually stop when these problems are solved.

To understand what is the source of a bad dream, analysis of its plot, images and symbols will help. To do this, immediately after waking up, write down the nightmare to the smallest detail.

Talk with images of horror, this will help you understand what you fear and avoid in life, find ways to solve conflicts and problems.

Discuss your dream with someone you can trust. An outside glance will help you discover your flaws or complexes that you may not be aware of.

Imagine a happy ending to a scary story and tell about it to someone close to you or read it aloud to yourself. So that your subconscious mind hears and assimilates a new scenario of the night "film".

Painting therapy.

Draw scary pictures from a nightmare, remembering and recording all the smallest details ... Looking at the drawing, try to find an image that causes you fear, protest, indignation.

Finish the picture as you wish - add cheerful colors, positive and kind characters, a happy ending to the plot.

Thus,

the source of nightmares is our unresolved internal and external conflicts.

You do not need to wait for the blows of fate, if you had a nightmare in a dream, resolutely dismiss worrying thoughts, and just as resolutely get down to business: find the cause of the nightmare and get rid of it.

It is especially important to do "debriefing" if the nightmare comes back. If you can't cope on your own, be sure to contact the specialists.

I hope that information about why nightmares have, their causes and meaning turned out to be useful, and you can get rid of unpleasant dreams, restore high-quality and healthy sleep , and in daytime reality to gain confidence and a positive attitude.

Good luck and good dreams :)

It is important to understand what their nature is and what they are associated with. This can be tricky in my experience. Also, everyone can have their own understanding of nightmares, because we are all developed in different ways and have personal fears, desires and intentions. When you analyze what you saw in a dream, then you should think about why it can somehow get into your dream and try to get rid of the causes by fighting some fear, or by disappearing thoughts about it.

Personally, I once decided to try to induce a lucid dream on the advice. But everything turned out to be not as easy as I imagined. Yes, I felt and created something. But besides this, in my dream there were some more powerful creators than myself. Everything slipped into something that I did not want to see haunted me throughout my dreams. It pursued me in the most unpleasant way to me, although perhaps many would have heard what I saw and said “what's wrong with that?”, But for me it was a nightmare. I woke up with a wild headache and some stupid thoughts came into my head that wanted to exhaust the possibility that what happened in my dream would have happened. Only that was already unrealistic. In general, it lasted for about 2 or 3 days, and then I simply gave up sleep for a long time, thanks to the energy charge from watching my favorite show going on at night. Accordingly, after that my whole brain was busy only with this show, and when I was still tired, I just passed out and saw my old favorite dream: darkness (darkness, that is, nothing). Then I analyzed why I saw what I saw. The bottom line is that on the first day I tried these lucid dreams, 3 completely unrelated people reminded me of what I dreamed about. In general, they rarely write to me, but here it is. In general, I tried to make everyone understand as much as possible that this topic does not interest me. It does not interest, but does not cause inconvenience. If I had said the second, then I'm afraid there would only be more inquiries.

Why am I doing this. In my version, it was worth finding why it so fit into my head. Those. it was a challenge for me to hear about it so often from other people.

The elements of sleep can also be influenced by foreign objects. For example, some kind of noise. Again, it is very good when you suppose sometime you go to bed early, sometime later and eventually find out if there are any noises, or something else, appearing while you sleep. Perhaps you shouldn't even get rid of them, it's just worth learning about their existence and in your dreams they will no longer acquire any volume and meaning.

It would be desirable, of course, to state the nature of your nightmares, so that it would be easier to understand what is wrong with you. But this is of course at your discretion.

Good luck in your difficult business!

Nightmares can be related to the stress that builds up from day to day, and which is still difficult to cope with, although this is not the only reason. Perhaps you are just a very impressionable nature and, being frightened of something during the day, transfer it to a dream, reflecting on it again. Sometimes it happens.
Working through the most difficult situation for yourself in a dream, you thus make it easier for yourself to face it in real life, perhaps hypothetically, and prepare to react without harming yourself. If I'm right, then try to think about what leads to such an abundance of negativity, and slowly begin to untie this stressful tangle. Solve problems, find answers, cut off unnecessary things, add important things. And then nightmares will not come from anywhere.
All the best and good luck to you! Sleep soundly. :)
