March, 2021In addition to the answer: enzymes are proteins. In the stomach, under the influence of other enzymes, they are broken down to amino acids, that is, the most common digestion of proteins occurs.
The pH of saliva is about 7-7.5, therefore, in the acidic environment of gastric juice, it is neutralized - not very active, of course. All substances contained in saliva are hydrolyzed to simple ones and absorbed into the blood.

March, 2021In general, saliva is necessary in order to moisten a lump of food and begin the breakdown of carbohydrates (amylase and lipase there). Since saliva consists of a very large percentage of water, in the stomach about the same happens to it as with water. That is, it passes into the intestine and is absorbed there into the bloodstream, and then along it to all tissues and cells. I can't say for sure about the enzymes in saliva, most likely at some stage of the gastrointestinal tract they are broken down, and then synthesized again in the oral cavity.
