Good question. :-)))

Since I am madly in love with reading, I read every day. Moreover, completely different literature: from classical fiction to all kinds of scientific journals. One of the purposes of reading is to learn something new and to support mental activity accordingly.

I play one good game - Memorado. It develops everything: memory, reaction, and concentration. There are many different games. The most amazing thing is that the effect is real. It may be true, not so global, but still there.

I study foreign languages. Now Spanish. Every day I learn 10 new foreign words.

Sometimes I still write poetry. Depends on the mood. :-))) And the selection of rhymes also has a good effect.

I love crosswords.

Personally, I play chess and read. There are tons of sites out there for developing specific abilities, but I'm not an expert here. I took up the answer only for the reason that on my own experience I discovered a connection between the training of the vestibular apparatus with the spatial imagination on which many of our abilities depend. I have never seen anything like this in serious sources, but it helps me as an aid. And advice: do not look for a panacea and recipes "for everyone"; study YOURSELF as a zoologist your favorite animal species; pick up keys and lockpicks for YOURSELF.

First, I try to read as much as possible every day. And it doesn't matter at all whether it is reading fiction or scientific literature, in any case, it will be useful. While reading, our brain turns on our imagination to visualize what we have read, we begin to analyze the information received, thereby not only improving memory and brain function, but also expanding our vocabulary.

The school curriculum does not just include memorization poems, because it helps to develop and improve memory and attention. I just go to school, so I often have to learn them, it takes on average 5-10 minutes, so I have time to do it even during recess.

One of the most effective ways to improve memory is to study foreign languages. By devoting at least 15 minutes a day to learning words, you will not only improve your memory, but also replenish your vocabulary, which certainly will not be superfluous.

Well, my most important and favorite pastime is mathematics, with its with help, you can perfectly improve the work of the brain, it forms the ability to abstract, analyze, generalize. I try to do large calculations in my head without using a calculator and solve problems of increased complexity, find new non-standard solutions.
