The question of how much you can trust tumor markers is very significant. Unfortunately, tumor markers, like other indicators, do not have 100% accuracy and unambiguity of the result. An increased level of tumor markers, detected once, does not mean that a person necessarily has a malignant tumor in any organ. In my opinion, the results of biopsy and MRI are much more effective

No, not a divorce. Scientifically grounded diagnostic methods. The specificity and sensitivity are different for different markers, but in general, biopsy and different types of imaging studies are now more effective
