VSD, dysbacteriosis and milgamma in real medicine (and not in the head of another not very knowledgeable doctor) have their own well-defined and scientifically grounded place, so there is nothing to run into, doctors should be taught according to the standards of evidence-based medicine and not according to the principle "It seems to help my patients and I will advise everyone."

VSD and dysbiosis are syndromes, symptom complexes, and not independent diseases, but it is objectively and measurably existing symptom complexes that require further examination to identify the cause, their that caused. And milgamma is a useful vitamin, but I have never met that it was a leading and not an auxiliary drug in the treatment of osteochondrosis.

Let me explain as a marketer (who wanted to become a doctor at school, but that's a completely different story).

There is a demand among the population for certain medical services, which is realized through:

  1. official hardcore scientific medicine;

  2. alternative "medicine" in the form of all kinds of osteopathic vertebrologists who treat osteochondrosis by applying healing electrodes;

  3. grandmothers-healers, shamans, Ayurvedic healers who fumigate the room with cow shit to remove evil spirits.

Let's say that several workers at a local factory got back pain and went to the clinic. The first one saw the price of medicines, decided that it was very expensive for him, and applied the wonderful spell "It will pass by itself!" The second bought medicine, ran every other day injecting milgamma, sat in front of the TV less, did not drink for a couple of weeks, and now he feels much better. Both are satisfied with the result: they talked with the medical staff, felt the attention and realized their needs. Next time they will go to the doctor.

But the other two are under the influence of strange wives (for example) and instead of the pharmacy they go to apply to electrodes or fumigate the premises with shit. Their backs will go away, because they, again, will drink less, move more and get psychotherapy, but next time they will go to satisfy the demand not to doctors, but to shamans . In addition to losing money, this is fraught with alternative "treatment" of serious diseases, which significantly affects the quantity and quality of the working-age population.

Although, yes, I completely agree that the modern medical paradigm must be seriously revised.

Oh, and here I agree with you. But in fact, unfortunately, it should be admitted that there will be no raids on the "official" medicine. This system is already well-established and has taken root too long into the heads of not only ordinary people (who have already learned perfectly well that due to antibiotics there will definitely be dysbiosis and you need to drink more kefir, that if the neck / back hurts, this is definitely osteochondrosis, and what if the pressure jumps and the pulse is high - this is VSD), but also the doctors who are taught this, so not everyone has enough intelligence to resist, and even I, if I had not found critical articles in due time, had not traveled abroad, had not started reading English-language resources - now Perhaps I also kept all these diagnoses in my head as a reminder.
Arms won't help, all we need is Peter I in medicine, who will override it according to the Western model, ideally, evidence-based medicine should be at the head of everything, useless medicines should be removed from the shelves of pharmacies, something should be removed completely (homeopathy, arbidols, etc.) for something, set aside a separate shelf with the inscription "dietary supplements", and so that all people know in advance that the effectiveness of these drugs has not been proven. To train doctors, accordingly, according to new standards, so that they do not have to seek consolation in foreign sources and seek out sensible colleagues among their colleagues. Here, you know, you can remember the meme about a man in a crowd who pushes people apart and with wide eyes shouts "Who said ...." So here, you are ready to run into the room and shout "Who said evidence-based medicine ??" - because you know that with this person you will most likely have something to talk about and what to discuss. In general, the question is difficult, it is difficult to organize a revolution, and it will only work locally, not everywhere. For example, I managed to talk to the author of the Encyclopathy, Nikita Zhukov, and he said that in his department where he was doing his residency, he asked the head of the right to treat as he saw fit, mortality did not increase, the patients were alive and well, and the head was from him lagged behind, one might say a mini-revolution in miniature, but indicative. We can only hope that the new generation will adopt more and more evidence base and reject what is being shoved into their heads as the truth based on their own experience, and gradually everything will change.
