One way or another, scars attract attention. The result is either a quiet disapproval and negative perception of the scarred person, or interest, or disorderly behavior (grabbing the hand and asking questions). Of course, if the reason is a suicide attempt, then this is not something that you want to explain to everyone you meet or catch reproachful / interested glances. Public censure puts a lot of pressure on a person, especially such a sensitive person, who decides to take such a step. In my opinion, it is better to cover it with a tattoo (it won't work forever in sweaters with long sleeves) in order to avoid all the reactions listed above. Your story will remain yours and only available to close people in whom you are confident.
Scars are usually small, and all "cosmetic" defects usually only interfere with the owner himself. People perceive each other more on a subconscious level and how pleasant a person is to us often depends not on appearance. It is worth paying attention to criticism regarding the appearance of only people close to you. But the presence of scars has little effect on warm feelings between people. If you yourself want to get rid of them, then you shouldn't. Let this remain a reminder that life is priceless, millions of people dream of extending their lives in the fight against serious illnesses. Millions cannot get pregnant in the hope of giving life. There is nothing worth taking your life for, there is always a way out, it cannot but be.
