A couple of months ago, we actively discussed the results of one study. They wrote that a certain amount of red wine can replace an hour of exercise in the gym. But at the same time, the effect of a beneficial effect on the state of the cardiovascular system was compared, and not on weight. Perhaps, again, someone confused something and a new myth was born.
For me personally, a glass of wine is a separate "dish", and not just a liquid with which you wash down your food (provided, of course, that the wine is good). Therefore, a glass of wine instead of dinner somewhere in Italy for me is approx. In this scenario, there is probably a slimming effect.
The problem is that drinking alcohol stimulates the appetite. This leads to the fact that in a state of alcoholic intoxication, a person ceases to adequately assess the amount of food consumed. Wine itself does not have wonderful qualities.
I don't know about moderate, but once I drank so much red that I couldn't eat for two days. Is it worth it or not, decide for yourself. I personally cannot look at it now
