February, 2021I can only give empirical arguments based on personal experience and my acquaintances. On the one hand, I know too many intelligent people for whom doom and power metal are the pinnacle of musical preferences, which clearly does not correspond to their character.
On the other hand, I don’t know more than one reasonable admirer of the Caspian Load.
And one more thing, you know this stereotype, they say all nerds listen to all kinds of Mozarts and Vivaldi. But the question is, is this music really that difficult? In fact, no, in part these composers are very predictable and you don't need to have a lot of intelligence to say what will happen next.

February, 2021I don’t think that the choice of music and intelligence are somehow directly related, rather indirectly. Firstly, the choice of the track list may depend on the mood and the company. Secondly, from the places that a person visits, there can be clubs and philharmonic societies, you must admit the music is different, but there and there there is a chance to hear what you want to listen to. Thirdly, there are music lovers, people who listen to compositions of different genres :)

February, 2021one can draw conclusions, but not about intelligence. your character and your style depend on your musical tastes. not all nerds listen to classics and not all gopniks listen to rap)
