You can lose 2 kg a week, but not fat. A kilogram of fat is 9000 calories and the body consumes 1500-2500 calories per day, depending on activity. Even a 500 calorie deficit in a meal will not allow that amount of fat to go away. So if it goes away then water if there is swelling plus fat.

To really lose weight, you need to move as much as possible. It is best to visit the gym regularly, since the trainer will try to give the optimal load, then the process will go much faster. You can lose weight with cardio loads. So, for example, if you run for an hour every day, the extra pounds will melt. You can lose weight well in a month, but only on condition of regular morning jogging. And drink plenty of water, preferably 2 liters per day.

Possibly and not difficult. You just need to calculate your calorie consumption and make up such a diet to get them less than you spend. It doesn't matter how many times a day you eat, it matters what, how much and in what form. You need to severely limit your menu, leaving only the most necessary for the body.

From personal experience of losing weight by 30kg in six months: oatmeal for breakfast with the addition of a tablespoon of milk and 5g. plum oil - 250g, for lunch too 250g. boiled chicken and rice / buckwheat with carrots and herbs, for dinner 100g. low-fat cottage cheese with a teaspoon of sour cream and a pinch of fructose, between lunch and dinner, a snack - a glass of milk and 1 banana. That's it, for the second year I don't eat anything else. After losing weight, the weight is kept at one point.

Having switched from three to one meal a day, I dropped 200-300 grams per day, without introducing any additional loads; as a result, I lost 9 kg per month (from 76 to 67). On average, I consumed no more than 800-1000 calories per day; my diet consisted exclusively of eggs, chicken, pasta and rice.

So yes: the answer to the question "can a person with a sedentary lifestyle lose 2 kg per week?" is positive.

P.S. Although I am not a nutritionist, I understand that such a diet for a month can bring more problems than benefits, so I highly not advise to repeat my experience. Moreover, I cannot give any guarantees that the same effect will happen to other people.
