The most difficult route in the IDF is Masa Kumta. It is done not by running, but by brisk strides. In fact, you need to raise your overall stamina, not specifically your ability to run. I run 5 kilometers every two days along the shore (good for the lungs, sort of) - I'm preparing myself for the army. Those who serve in combat said that this is enough.

I can say as a person who went through the army. There is nothing difficult in this, in the army, by and large, there is very little physical activity, in its direct manifestation. Therefore, you can just start running in the morning, for about 30-40 minutes (this happens on physical exercises), the pace is average, after which you can do push-ups and shake your abs. In general, this will be enough for preparation))

First, make sure that you have no cardiac pathology - go through a doctor's examination. Jogging will prepare your body to endure long-term loads, increase endurance. You need to choose a place where you are going to run, determine the length of the entire route and individual sections. This is necessary in order to properly dose the load. The easiest way is at the stadium, the circle is 400 meters long. Then find out what the sporting standards are in your army and what is the usual distance for a soldier's training run. Let's say it's 3 kilometers. At first, make it a rule to run half of this distance, and pass the other at a fast pace. For example: run 200 meters, then walk 200 meters, then run again. Gradually increase the distance you run for your workout, then when you get involved, just run. Be sure to end your workout with a pull-up or lift, a flip or swing of the press. It is important that the soldier, after the throwing march, can join the battle, and not be a mattress.
