It is impossible to lose weight locally in one place, which is why you were advised to lose weight in general in order to remove your belly. But you shouldn't go on a strict diet in any case: sooner or later you will lose it, and the weight will return.

To lose weight, it is enough to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you consume) with the help of sports and proper nutrition .

Abdominal exercises alone, of course, are not enough in this case. Go jogging (you can right in the nearest park), ride a bike, at least just walk a lot. The fastest results will be given by circuit workouts in the gym and cardio workouts. If possible, do them.

Proper nutrition means giving up fried, fast food, fast carbohydrates (sweet soda, sweets, other sweets, etc.), flour. You can turn on the food:

  • complex carbohydrates (cereals, pasta from t / s wheat);
  • proteins - when losing weight we focus on protein foods (lean meat, stewed or baked fish, cottage cheese, legumes and soy products), it is not deposited in fat;
  • fats - should be healthy, such as fish or fish oil, olive or linseed oil;
  • vegetables, fruits, berries - from them you get vitamins and minerals, fiber.

Try the so-called IF or 16/8 diet. Many people use it (including Hollywood stars when preparing for films)

Literally, you were given advice to burn subcutaneous fat. You should not go on a diet. Try to consume equal amounts of complex carbohydrates in small portions (but not more than you need), speed up your metabolism. Do not worry about weight (I weigh 61, height 172 with net muscle mass, muscle fibers are visible), this will not affect your health.
