Not at all. In adolescence and adolescence, I often talked to myself and almost had no friends, delved into books and films, and I am an introvert. Even now I am more comfortable with myself than with someone and at least an hour a day I need loneliness. It's ok))

Good day, please tell me why you wondered if everything is okay with you? How old are you? Have you always had no friends? What does friendship and being friends mean to you? How do you feel in this state of "no friends"?

Well, depending on how you speak. If you just voice your thoughts out loud, then okay. And if you ask yourself and answer yourself (in general, speak for two) - then illness is already possible.

I also often think out loud. There are a lot of thoughts swarming in my head, some seem to be breakthrough, but you voice it and you understand that this is garbage in vegetable oil. It is also a way to release emotions if I play online, for example. It would be possible to yell into the microphone, but I don't see the point in that, so I'm laughing or outraged by myself

Mental illness basically means a lack of self-criticism and a mismatch in the actions of parts of the personality (subpersonalities). In addition, a mentally ill person may experience a loss of interest and motivation in life.

In your case, these symptoms are not observed. That is:

  • You suspect you may be mentally ill (criticality remains)

  • Self-talk (different parts of your personality exchange their opinions with each other)

  • You have an interest in your personality

As for the lack of friends and the preponderance of interest in oneself, and not in others, it is more like strengthening the qualities of a certain type of personality, which is characterized by solitude in a rich inner world, research and learning new things.

If this state of affairs suits you, and if this state of affairs does not make you unadapted to life, but, on the contrary, helps you to better reveal your potential, then there is no reason for alarm.

However, for more harmonious development your personality, it is important to develop other qualities in yourself. In your case, these are, rather, those related to communication, friendliness, interest in other people.

This will allow you to enjoy life in more areas of activity.
