I think it's because fashion is like that now. There are heaps of pychologists. And there is even a market for teaching sales of psychology services. Its technologies, all of this will be worked out. This is the power of marketing that has hit this generation.

There are people who are predisposed to self-reflection (addressing themselves to their thoughts, introspection), while others do not have this or are not developed. Those who cannot set up an internal dialogue need an external dialogue, especially for "soulful" internal questions. This function is performed by psychotherapists.

This can also be done by relatives or friends, if there is an opportunity to fruitfully talk with them on "spiritual" topics.

To help books, YouTube on topics of self-knowledge, philosophy, self-determination. True, you should be careful, after all, there is work with the worldview and psyche and you can go to extremes.
