Yuri, good afternoon. We do not involve volunteers in our work, we have full-time employees with the necessary professional experience to carry out their work. However, volunteers can be attracted by national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies such as the Russian Red Cross.
Since Médecins Sans Frontières is an international independent medical organization, knowledge of English is required to work in its projects in other countries, regardless of your specialty. The level should be sufficient to maintain professional communication with colleagues. You can find out what specialties are currently in demand in our projects on the website - Russian-speaking (ru.msf.org) or international (msf.org). There you can also get acquainted with the list of requirements and the scheme for submitting a resume. Naturally, you need to be an adult to work with Doctors Without Borders. There is no upper age bracket. Volunteers in our organization receive financial compensation for their work, because the principles of respect for human dignity are important to us, and remuneration is one of them.
