You know, everything that is written here is of course true. I didn't want to be a doctor. Although all my loved ones are somehow connected with this hard work. I saw how my mother, an obstetrician-gynecologist, works for days in the hospital, how new lives die and are born on her hands. It wasn't until college that I got there myself. It is the comprehension of medical duty, medical practice and other things that came with a college diploma. If you are 18, you are ambitious, determined to become a doctor, then I implore you, think. Medical University is an ordeal. And the profession itself is not sugar. Are you ready for this? When in doubt, I recommend college. There is nothing wrong with that, they say, not a higher education. Look, learn. If you don't like it, it will be possible to change the whole profession with precision and leave, say, as a biologist. It's just that it's harder to quit Medical itself, you always think about, they say, I entered the exam, passed the exam, oh yes I have already unlearned so much, well, where to throw.
I wish you success and great patience)
At the stage of training - if you are interested, and you are "pulling" the bulk of your studies (all the information, d / s, it seems unrealistic to study there ... I write as a graduate with a "red diploma"; well, it would be physically prohibitive). Yes, - at the same time, in its main direction there is a mass of materials, MUCH wider and deeper than in the program, and with the capture of everything related.
In the senior years, at the beginning of work - are you ready to deal with patients day, and night, and another day, and another night - until you figure it out, and until his / her particular affairs go well. No bigotry, but always when it matters. You can - without burnout, and keeping your interest - great.
And then (demonic laughter turning into sad) - you are faced with what you have known for a long time ... with your mind. With payment for the work of doctors in Russia. Well, that is, you will have to think about it separately, how you will act - God knows; everything is in your hands, etc ... However, dentistry is more favorable here, probably than (long list).
Doctors study all their lives, in order to become a good doctor you really need to live medicine. Studying in honey is probably the most difficult of all the specialties that are familiar to me) You will not have a personal life, sleep, you will not have time to eat, and besides But it is very expensive, you will have to cram a huge amount of information into your inflamed brain in a short time, and if after all this your nerves do not give up and you don’t give up everything, then by your first practice you will be a more or less morally hardened student)
We must really love medicine, rather than people, because now I am more and more convinced that in our country everyone considers doctors to be service personnel who should work almost free of charge.
I admit such a list of skills necessary for the profession of a doctor:
-Hellish industriousness -Position to natural sciences -Good concentration - Attention to the little things -Strong psyche -Maasenka such cynicism. Although such a thing with doctors, as they say, is quickly gained in practice. - Ability to follow through
