Due to a hereditary disease, I drink 10-12 liters of water if I do not take pills. And all my life I have been fighting overweight. I drink a lot of water a day: from 1.5 to 3 liters.
Well, first of all, I really like the water itself, for me it is connected with something pure, untouched and really beautiful (oddly enough);
Secondly, I constantly have the thought in my head that our body has a lot of toxins, and water, in turn, successfully removes them :)
And thirdly : this is a pure habit - you yourself drink it by inertia. In creating this habit, a very important factor, for me personally, was that water should be near me 24/7. For convenience, I use 1.5 liter bottles.

There is an opinion that if you drink alcohol through a straw (cocktail, for example), you will get drunk faster, because the straw is equivalent to an endless sip. With water, the same thing. Here's a life hack for you: I have a sedentary job, so I just pour a large glass of water, insert a straw and put the glass next to me.
