Did you guess right? I think that homemade methods (like "eat more pies") do not help, since you are writing here. But in any case, success really depends a lot on nutrition. Read on the Internet for information on daily requirements - there are online calculators and ready-made tables for different ages and different levels of physical activity. You need a healthy and balanced diet - nobody has canceled BJU yet. Lean on cereals, quality meat and dairy products (yes, vegetarians are more difficult). But only for God's sake, do not try to artificially accelerate the process of muscle growth due to dubious drugs and dietary supplements - you can cause irreparable harm to the growing body and get not the result you dreamed of! And of course, sports loads should be regular and full.
