To reduce the load on vision, you should clearly see everything that is on the screen. Adjust the monitor so that the image is clear and high-contrast. If you are visually impaired, use glasses to work at the computer.

Think about how to position your desk and computer. The room where you will be working should be light. The distance from the eyes to the monitor should be 50-70 cm, ideally you should sit so that it is convenient to look into the distance - out the window, for example. You also need to make sure that the computer desk is well consecrated, but the light should not fall on the monitor - the glare is too tired for the eyes. And don't forget to do eye exercises every 15-25 minutes of work.

In fact, the measures to protect your eyesight while working at a computer are quite simple. These include some simple eye exercises. For example, blink rapidly for one minute, squeezing the eyelids as tightly as possible. About brightness - this is unlikely to radically change anything. I don't see the point in that. The radiation is the same.
