A doctor will physically prepare you. Today, when cleaning tooth canals with pulpitis, high-quality anesthesia is used, which allows you not to feel painful sensations. Morally, you can tune yourself. Think about the fact that the doctor is not going to hurt you, that if you do feel something, you can signal to the specialist, trust your doctor and everything will be fine. Your peace of mind will help both you and your doctor.

Why don't you just ask for painkillers?

Most often you have to pay extra for it, but it's worth it - if you are so afraid, warn the dentist that you are going to get scared and twitch like a pig on a rope , You will be offered yourself :)

You know, I do not tolerate physical pain at all and am terribly afraid of dentists. But last week I had the canals cleaned and it didn't hurt at all, honest! I got two injections and I didn't feel anything. By the way, I have chronic pulpitis. But I assure you, it won't hurt if the doctor is conscientious and does everything efficiently.
But two days ago they removed my wisdom tooth. And it was really horrible, but that's another story.

Tune in to the fact that no one is going to hurt you on purpose. Doctors now pay special attention to the stage of pain relief (many techniques). Do not take alcohol or NSAIDs before taking. Talk to your doctor about how you will sound the signal if you still feel pain. If the fear of pulpal extirpation

is strong enough and you cannot fight it, consider sedation. Think that you are fighting for a tooth, that there are only 32 of them, or even

less!)
