This happens to me from time to time. If you exclude options like excitement, stress, overload, etc., as the reasons, eliminating them, then the following can help - make external factors and the environment for sleeping more comfortable for you.

In my case, this is: a cool room. (a little cold is better than stuffy), a slightly open window (fresh air + minimal street noise), firm mattress, flat pillow and darkness.

Although, as I read, nightmares are more common if a person is freezing. In general, find your ideal sleeping conditions)
