How should a dietary supplement be taken if I plan to drink vitamin D, chelate / ferritin, folate, collagen capsules, omega-3 and B-12 every day?
It is important for me to know which drug after meals / before meals ; which one must drink / which one is not.
What else is worth knowing when starting a similar course?
P.S. I checked the blood, I buy dietary supplements not only to improve my health.

Briefly answer the question.

  1. Vitamin D - Better in the morning, along with foods that contain fat. An ideal choice with olive oil. This will increase the absorption and effectiveness of this vitamin. Do not take vitamin D with coffee or until 1 hour after taking coffee. Otherwise, the vitamin will be neutralized by substances from coffee.

  1. Folate (folic acid) and Vitamin B12 can be drunk together in the morning, so as not to get an energy boost before bed.
  2. Omega-3 is best not to drink at all. As a part of capsules / liquid, Omega-3 dietary supplement does not work. An ideal substitute for dietary supplements - oils with a large amount of Omega-3, oily fish, or fish oil stored in the refrigerator and in glass containers. You can drink / take any time, but ideally with vitamin D in the morning, for example, in the form of a teaspoon of fish oil or a piece of fish.

Healthy Fats vs. Bad Fats: What You Need to Know

  1. Collagen. It is important at first to understand that collagen is of different types and you need to drink the one that makes up the affected body tissues. If you just drink some collagen, then there will be no benefit. Collagen should be taken as directed.

  1. Ferritin (iron chelate). In general, a very controversial additive. It's not about how and when to drink, but why you should do it at all. If there is a lack of iron, then first you need to understand the reason for this lack. The point is that iron is very active and has many side effects. And its lack in most cases is associated with an inflammatory process or a lack of nutrition. At the same time, a decrease in hemoglobin levels is not an indicator of iron deficiency.
