How to cope with anxiety disorder in isolation?

Anxiety

I have been suffering from anxiety disorder, panics, all that for quite some time. I was treated quite effectively by a psychiatrist, it seemed that here are a couple more techniques, and I will feel more or less like a person. But here's an epidemic, isolation. For almost 2 months I have been on the street 3 times, what are the receptions there. Therefore, rollback after rollback began. In principle, now my doctor may already be working, but in the near future I will hardly get to him anyway. So I need advice on how not to go crazy in the next couple of weeks. I am very tormented by the cloudiness in my eyes, this nasty veil (whoever has come across such sores - surely understands), insufficient sleep (I catch up early in the morning and cannot fall asleep, but during the day I cut myself down like a marmot), well, and a banal baseless fear for my health and anxiety ... I ask the specialists to respond, because mega-original advice from the category of "well, don't be afraid" or "drink some soothing tea" will not help

In order to overcome fear in isolation, you need to compare your situation with the situation of other people. For example, residents of besieged Leningrad during the Second World War, who lived for four years without food, heat, and loved ones in a city surrounded by the enemy. Who do you think was worse? I think your life is heaven compared to them.

I think so. .

If you have worked with a psychiatrist and say that he gave you some tricks, he should have given you home exercises for independent work.

Make an appointment with a psychologist, at least remotely, who will tell you the methods of self-help that are right for you if you cannot contact a psychiatrist at the moment.

To cope with anxiety disorder, it is important to understand that fear is the main component. But in case of anxiety, the reason (object) of this fear is not always understood (not realized) by a person.

Therefore, one of the ways to cope with anxiety is to realize the cause of this fear, and then work through the fear itself.

The reasons in this case can be very different:

  • Uncertainty of the future

  • Worrying about your health

  • Fear of wasting time

  • Excitement from lack of self-realization

  • Loss of meaning in life

and others.

To overcome fear, you need to determine the belief that causes it. For more details on specific steps in dealing with anxiety, I share this video: https://youtu.be/7AVchonxlis
