It takes 1 day to take an impression of your tooth and then send it to the laboratory to actually create a crown based on your impression. It takes a couple of days, usually the dentist himself tells you how long to come back again, or, if he himself does not know when to wait for the crown, he simply writes down your number and calls you when everything is ready.
You come to the dentistry and have it installed, it will take no more than 5 minutes.
