January, 2021It took me 2 years of regular smoking to be convinced of this. This was the first time that I gathered my thoughts and decided to put an end to this. But after a week of refusal, I realized how hard it is not to smoke. I was already ready to climb the wall and smoke everything that can only smoke, I could not think about anything except a cigarette, I was completely out of life. As a result, I thought that it is better to smoke than to condemn myself to such suffering, and I will always have time to quit. Thirteen years later, I still haven't quit.

January, 2021I think it's different for everyone. I have smoked for 35 years. I quit smoking for the fifth time. The first time I quit about 13 years ago. How I read Alan Carr's book. She helped me a lot. Lasted 3 months. Now I noticed that it's getting harder and harder to get it. But I can say that this is not nicotine but a habit of behavior. Together with coffee, after meals, after work, and so on. And now I feel apathy, constantly feeling that something is missing. Thoughts revolve almost only around the cigarette. As if something dear was taken away from me. And this is after 2 months. I hope every day it will be easier. Just awful. If I knew it then.

January, 2021I have been smoking for a year, 5-6 cigarettes almost every day (there are not often days when I do not smoke at all). 1-2 days are calmly tolerated, I have not tried it again. In general, everyone has different ways, for someone it is enough to smoke for 3 weeks and already addiction
