April, 2021As a rule, residual cough goes away on its own. In this case, the cough can last up to 1 month. For prophylactic purposes, a nasal toilet is carried out with saline solutions (Quicks, Aqualor, Aquamaris, saline, Linakwa and others) up to 5-6 times a day. When coughing, it is recommended to give more liquids to the child, plain warm water or apple juice, it is not recommended to give carbonated drinks or citrus drinks, as they can irritate the mucous membrane. In the room where the child is, it is desirable that there is moderately humid, fresh, cool air. Ventilate the room regularly and carry out wet cleaning.
