There is one trick, I invented it myself. Just start calling random words (just quietly so that no one hears).
For example, I wanted to do or say something, but forgot and I put the "technique" into action, ala eight, fourteen, dad , mom, bezdei, table ... etc. until I remember what I wanted. I think it works because it uses different parts of the brain (because the words are from different directions), which helps it "kick" the memory to work. Just try it.
"Rewind" does work. But there is another way - to completely get away from the topic that prompted the desire to speak out. Better to be distracted, immediately turn your attention to something else. Perhaps it is the obsession with a forgotten thought that clogs memory and aggravates confusion.
At least, if you wanted to say something important, sooner or later you will.
As a rule, I try to rewind the conversation, consistently analyzing what has already been said, in order to catch the end of the thread that will lead me into a lost thought. True, sometimes it doesn't work)
No matter how stupid it often looks, I always repeat the same actions as at the moment when the thought came to me. For example, if I then flipped through the feed, I return to the same posts and flip through them again. Or if I walked in a certain place, I go there again. In general, whatever it is, I just always repeat everything in the same sequence and almost always remember what I wanted to say / do.
