4 years ago, my weight was about 120 kilograms, and I was only 15 years old. It was a nightmare. It all started with the fact that I hated myself. It took me 15 years of bullying and several failed suicide attempts for me to start changing. One conversation interrupted my apathy. From it I took out only one phrase, which, in the end, changed my life: The day I lived is not exchangeable and non-refundable. It seems like D. Rockefeller said it, but I may be wrong, in principle this is not the point. After this phrase, I realized that too early I put an end to myself and I must build a decent life myself, with my own hands. The first thing I decided on was a diet of 1500 kcal per day, having lived like that for six months and losing 25 kg, I realized that this was not enough. Such a result lit the fire in me that still burns. I went to the hall, and not to the pretentious, but the usual basement hall. My experience in the gym is about 3.5 years, and I have achieved some success. Actually, my secret of keeping fit is not any secret, rather it is a very uncomfortable truth: "hard work on yourself every day." It is simply impossible in another way. Arnold Schwarzenegger said "Sparing yourself in training, and the results are miserable."

Motivation. Hmm. You know, the result is always not enough, if you find what you really like, you will always be in a race with yourself. When I start to be lazy, I just remember how I came to the gym. And damn it, I'm afraid of losing what I have achieved. Anyway, a very correct position is to constantly look back and see progress. After all, your main enemy is yourself. Be better than yourself yesterday, my friend, at least 1%.

Success!

In fact, not so long ago I discussed this in a personal conversation with two friends. It turned out that everyone has their own path and all three methods are very different and act, first of all, on their authors, let's say. Here's a recap of the conversation, containing three different paths to losing weight and staying in shape.
1) The way of diet. One of my acquaintances, let's call him A. .. At some point, he got very fat. Not really wanting to exercise physically, but wanting to lose weight, he began to very strictly monitor his calorie intake. All this seems like a fiction from fashion magazines. But no. The calorie counting app works. He, a real person, an adult man without much physical exertion, actually lost weight in six months. And it is very noticeable.
2) The path of serious physical exertion. A.'s path did not suit my other friend B. He can only chew salad for weeks and will not lose weight. Only serious physical activity helps him. Rocking once or twice a week. Weight exercises, swimming pool.
3) The way is mine. Diet also has a rather weak effect on me. Alas, I cannot go to trainings regularly. Therefore, I regularly do a small tonic set of exercises. Several squats, several push-ups, several ab exercises. Literally 3 - 10 times in 1 sitting. I got a free minute - I fell down, did the press, sat down 3 times. I went on to do business. And so several times a day. You don't waste time. Almost the same strength, but after a week the fat decreases and the vitality is strongly restored. Therefore, you do not need to motivate yourself much. I just remembered and did so.

But, of course, everyone has their own metabolism and everything is very individual.
