Anorexia - different concepts are hidden under this concept.

Anorexia as low weight is a diagnosis in the medical reference book of diseases ICD-10. It means reduced weight.

Also in ICD-10 there is anorexia nervosa, which implies reduced weight due to mental characteristics - a conscious refusal to eat. Refusal to eat occurs either when hungry or when appetite is lost.

Anorexia nervosa is usually accompanied by increased emotional self-control and control of food (quantity and / or composition), decreased emotional sensitivity, anxiety, muscle tension , depressive thoughts, shame and guilt for their appearance, sometimes - auto-aggression and suicidal thoughts.

Due to the fact that anorexia nervosa has psychological manifestations, the psychological appearance can predict the medical diagnosis of anorexia nervosa ". Therefore, some psychologists and psychotherapists diagnose anorexia nervosa only on the basis of psychological manifestations, without reference to weight. That is why sometimes you can hear about anorexia weighing 90 kg.

Anorexia happens as a conscious refusal to eat (when there is a desire to eat), and also happens with a loss of appetite (there may still be a diagnosis of depression).

Therefore, when deliberately refusing to eat - all thoughts about what to eat, but not gain weight.

Also, people with anorexia often have a lot of resentment, feelings of unfairness , anger (which cannot be mischievous), longing for a happy life, hatred of one's personality and body, distrust of all people, loneliness. There is also a lot of love for parents. Accordingly, there are many conflicting desires, a lot of muscle tension in the body, a lot of ignorance of the realities of the world. There is a desire to run away from this helplessness, but it is impossible to run away, so there is a feeling of despair and accountability of what to do.

Therefore, in general, life is very difficult.

Well, for starters, anorexia is a mental illness. I'll just tell you from my experience further. From anorexia, the first step, of course, is weight loss, hence sports interest, but at the same time a huge self-loathing, you know, in order to force yourself to eat only water and the energy of the sun, you need some kind of motivation. The second phase is when you have reached the weight you need, but YOU DON'T SEE THAT YOU HAVE FALSE due to mental trauma, you perceive yourself incorrectly and continue to eat ~ 200 kcal per day and faint, your thoughts are almost all busy with food, you sleep very little , since it's corny you want to eat, so waking up at 3-4 in the morning becomes the norm, while do not forget about the terrible apathy when you don't care about anything and everyone. If you are pulled out somewhere at this moment or you finally break loose, you will start eating like an elephant, really + 4000 kcal due to the fact that your body is simply in awe. After such compulsive overeating, you gain weight, sometimes more than you threw it off and start hating yourself in a new way. Women after anorexia have a broken cycle, which is not always possible to restore, sometimes menstruation disappears completely, therefore infertility, hair falls out, faints, dizzy, an unconscious look appears. At the same time, it is almost like a drug, I still understand that this is bad and unnecessary, but sometimes I want to return to this lifestyle again and become a 'happy owner of bones'. Therefore, dear announcers, eat a lot and tasty.
