It's strange that none of the commentators knows that you can go there yourself, without the participation of any brigades and parents.
I went to the dispensary when I felt very bad, and I understood that for a long time I can't stand it, and no one else can help me.
I slept terribly, woke up in the middle of the night as if delirious, lost 7 kg in two months, despite the fact that I didn't want to, I stopped going to study, just closed in the room and did not go anywhere, began to feel constant grief, really wanted to die - these were the main reasons for my request for help.
After talking with the psychiatrist, it seemed to me that he did not want me help, and shifted the responsibility to a psychiatric hospital. And I decided to write a referral not to the kosher department. It is not allowed to go outside freely from the 4th department of that hospital, cells are on glass. In general, from this view from the inside, I was scared. And they treat schizophrenic patients, people with suicidal attempts (I don’t know who else)
Fortunately, when I talked to the head doctor, they changed their minds to put me there, but put me in the 10th department of "borderline states ". I stayed there for 2 weeks, and they gave me great help and support.
So, mental hospital is not always compulsory.

It's just that a person can't get into a psychiatric hospital. Unless he interfered with someone from the "powerful", but that's a separate story. And so, if a person has any deviations, most often close people send him to see a psychiatrist. The doctor decides for himself how and where to treat the patient. He can prescribe medications for a start, if everything is not very bad. However, if a person needs treatment in a psychiatric hospital, the doctor prescribes a referral to relatives / guardians (or their variations), and then calls the team and the person is taken to the hospital. BUT this is the case if a person has close people and is incapacitated himself. I may be wrong, but based on personal experience.

Yes, in different ways. Let's say I was once sent to a dispensary due to a nervous breakdown. I talked for about 2 hours with a psychologist-psychiatrist and then calmly went home, because I expressed everything that was happening in my head, and I realized where my desired action would not be humane, not correct, etc. and therefore I was not a threat to society, so there was nothing for me to do there. Sometimes people are sent there who go to the army, or are already serving. In general, there is already a game for frequent, or the balls for the rollers from people have gone long before that. Again, very often, like me, doctors refer, but it is one thing when they told me where to go and who I was assigned to in the hospital, and another thing when a person in the hospital shows something out of the ordinary and is forcibly taken to all kinds of madhouses. In general, it seems to me absolutely anyone can get into a bad house just at the right time under the right influence. As they say "there are no normal people", so how can there be "not normal"? The question is how many people want to put there, how much a person wants to get there, everything else can be thought up and played, not a problem at all. Doctors do not really care when someone plays out the symptoms of something well, only people who really care about the person are trying to figure it out.
