addictions are formed as a simple habit of the body, adaptation to altered chemical conditions of the body, changes in biochemistry and digestion processes. the human body in general will never deceive. but if a person's mind is distorted, then he will exhaust and torment his body with his own mind. further, the already crazy organism adapts to the chemical environment in which the individual diligently keeps it. this is how a strong dependence on things is formed at the physical level. the mind torments the body.

in people all the pleasant sensations fixed by the receptors, retained in tactile memory, one way or another wants to be repeated over and over again, up to infinity, where saturation is only temporary, but not final. this turns into abuse and also into serious abuse.

people who need external stimulus are not particularly self-sufficient, emotionally unstable (labile), this kind of addiction flourishes with particular intensity. people of this kind (who can be called latent drug addicts, subconscious drug addicts) persistently seek highs, yearn to escape from reality, dream of all kinds of idle, easy life in pleasure. usually they still have a strong belief system on how cool it would be to legalize everything that is forbidden, and when they have one word from an expert, they answer him ten against. They do not understand the danger, do not pay attention to the negative experience of those who have gone through it and are trying to say - "do not repeat my mistakes." Ozzy Osbourne says that he tried all the buzzes, without exception, and in general ... became a wreck, this experience did not make him happy, he was near the line more than once, and only with the support of friends he got out of the bottom. He campaigns for the fight against bad habits. But some people understand his words completely the opposite.

the first joint, the first puff, the first experience of intoxication, is usually extremely unpleasant for any young organism, which signals that, in fact, I was poisoned, my mind becomes clouded, my stomach boils fever, a young organism, experiencing these sensations for the first time, usually does not understand and generally rejects all this. alcohol is toxic. it affects the mind so badly that a person's self-respect weakens and neural networks are destroyed, memory is destroyed, vocabulary becomes scarce, the richness of associations becomes scarce, sensory-perceptual processes are dulled. but ... there are many reasons why people then continue, and one of the key ones is the fear of becoming an outcast, the impact of the ugly environment, which tells them that it is necessary to drink. although many threw something at one puff, they did not get carried away. for it was rotten to them. there are people who say that they were offered something like MDMA at rave parties or in nightclubs. and since organisms react to this thing rather individually, then, instead of "ecstasy", some people, on the contrary, experienced close to panic depersonalization, after which they only with strong conviction decided for themselves - nodrugs! i`ts my free choise! however, with regard to MDMA specifically, neither the therapeutic effect of this substance (methylenedioxymethamphetamine) nor its immediate chemical harm has been proven. in terms of the degree of harm to the body, it is safer than nicotine and alcohol. Why are quite dangerous, really quite dangerous alcohol and tobacco products freely available, and some relatively safe products are strictly prohibited? this is a separate long topic. by and large, everything is reduced to earnings where lawyers and representatives of the law have a stake in this business. besides ... there have already been beer coups in society, the prohibition of alcohol and tobacco can lead to disobedience to the state, so it is easier to solder the electorate. During the beer coup, the workers did not care that they increased the working day by 11 hours, reduced the salary ... somehow they endured when the workers in the port were also deprived of pubs and taverns, then they became brutal and went to smash municipal buildings. the state had to urgently retreat. and returning the workers access to alcohol, everything immediately calmed down.

In general, bad habits as a psychological pathology - it is based on the fact that the individual wants to have an external stimulus. it has no inner core, no support in itself. it has a system vulnerability and a gaping wormhole, and sometimes more than one. this inner pain must be somehow removed, so the individual tries to displace it in a simple and accessible way. it helps for a short time, gets even crappy in the long run. the coward becomes a hero. the melancholy becomes merry. the stupid starts philosophical conversations drunk. in this case, it is not even the drug or alcohol as such that is to blame, but the person himself. it was he who made the choice. things they do not have individual consciousness. there is nothing sinister or, on the contrary, delightful in their nature. chemistry is powerful, but it is the science of impersonal matter. this kind of external stimulus and its desperate search, as an attempt to escape from oneself, it is expressed in the fact that the person first quit drinking, then went to smoke, quit smoking, went to addict, having become a drug addict, went to church, after leaving the church, -that authoritative person who began to manipulate him or threw himself into the arms of selfless, insane love. so a person rushes about like a damned one, and nowhere can he find peace and shelter. it is not possible to escape from oneself. but if this person stops, ponders, gathers strength and relies on awareness, on consciousness, he can always change. you should look inside yourself and try to understand what exactly is the inner wormhole. and work on it. it is not easy, and it is not done overnight. such problems can carry over a decade or even a lifetime. in advice to such people ... usually they do not quite understand what to say. after all, maintaining a state without bad habits is easy and does not require effort. trying to cope with an already formed persistent addiction is not at all the same. sometimes for an alcoholic who decided to quit (and thisit is advisable not to do it abruptly) the big problem is not the refusal of alcohol itself, but the rupture of psychological, emotional ties with his environment, where he will be strongly pressured and prevent him from getting out of the dependent position. so for alcoholics it is most important to communicate preferably with people who either did not have the problem of alcoholism, or who coped with this problem. being in its old circle, where complaints, self-justification, it nullifies all the therapy that they are trying to provide. some alcoholics are quite aggressive, and generally do not intend to give up alcohol, even when their hands are already shaking, memory lapses and impotence as a natural consequence.

about physical addiction. level, at the honey .. level I will add a few words. some junkies without a dose may well fall back, so if they are chained to a battery, then at the time of withdrawal they need to be given some safe substitute, otherwise they will simply become so bad that they can literally die. usually drug addiction through Cocaine after 5 receptions gives a strong tie. cocaine is a powerful stimulant of nervous activity. the first times when the addict takes it, he feels an incredible rise in strength, that even his pain threshold increases, the pulse quickens, the pupils dilate, he is in a state that looks like a constant orgasm. but after about two weeks, serious problems with blood pressure and autonomic disorders begin. the nervous and hormonal systems of the body, as well as the metabolism, quickly get into trouble. cocaine addicts often run nosebleeds, then sink into a helpless, weakened state. after all, this is somewhat reminiscent of when all the body's reserve of forces was immediately spent in a month, a person burned out like a moth. the approximate lifespan of a cocaine addict from the beginning of admission with a stable attachment is 3 years of life. max 5 years if not cured. well-refined cocaine is the toy of the rich and powerful. cheap and therefore affordable coca-based drugs like heroin and black heroin (unrefined) and Crack (a mixture of these exemplary elements) are an even more terrifying and fleeting prospect of wilting. This information, knowledge of how people live in the underground, in the seamy side of society, in its hidden part, can be accompanied by oppression of the psyche of a person who does not know anything about this world, about drug addicted people. and the study of this part of life not everyone should even do. you can start to hate half of society. another piece of information may seem like something over the edge that the mind refuses to believe.

Dependencies appear as a result of the alienation of needs (values). When they are alienated, they are precisely that not their own, and it is not you who possess them, but they are you, from the outside.

A person does not have enough power, strength, will to hold them, to use them as a tool, not a goal.

Addiction appears due to the fact that some external object (alcohol, drug, game, emotion, danger) imitate our internal system of "reward and punishment" .

Then there are, these objects cause such an effect as if our own brain rewards us for successful behavior.

The brain does such reward with the help of special substances (internal "drugs"). That is why the effect of external drugs is so pleasant.

The difficulty in getting rid of addiction lies precisely in the fact that our brain is programmed for actions that lead to pleasure . Indeed, in nature, such pleasure is given only for real achievements and successes.

But a person has learned to deceive this system, getting pleasure without achievements and victories.

And for such a "steal" of pleasant sensations, the brain reacts by blocking pleasure . That is, a person who has become addicted decreases the ability to receive the desired pleasure.

And then he is forced to increase the dose (substance, risk, immersion in the game) in order to get at least minimal feelings of pleasure.

But when he tries to give up the subject of addiction, his joy in life is sharply reduced, he becomes emotionally so bad that life becomes not sweet .

And he, trying to survive in such a situation, again returns to those methods of getting high.

Thus, a person falls into a vicious circle :

  • his brain blocks pleasure

  • this person consumes even more "substance"

  • the brain blocks pleasure even more

  • and without "substance" life becomes terrible, that you want to die

  • the person increases the dose in order not to die

And so everything repeats itself on an increasing basis.

Therefore, one of the main principles of helping such people is to replace dependence on destructive ways of getting pleasure, for more socially approved ways (friendship, relationships, work, faith, meaning of life, etc.)
