January, 2021I did not have a single friend who would commit suicide just because of her period. I have never even heard of such a thing. After all, a sign of a healthy sexually active organism.

At least in places where girls were married off as soon as they reached puberty. I suspect that the onset of menstruation in such conditions could easily push adolescent girls to such a desperate step.
Well, in general, as far as I can tell, women do not lose control over themselves at such moments. Surely, mood swings during menstruation can be the "last straw" for those women who are on the verge, but the very fact of the onset of another menstruation will push a mentally healthy person to suicide.
