According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, vaccine prevention is one of the ten most significant public health achievements. Vaccines really work, not always 100%, but after all, not a single remedy has absolute effectiveness. The incidence graphs clearly show over the years that the percentage of diseases decreases, and consequently, complications after infection decrease and mortality rates decrease.
In terms of the ratio of potential benefits and harms, the benefits of vaccines for society as a whole and for each person outweigh risks associated with vaccination. The risks can be reduced if the vaccination rules are followed.
There are a number of contraindications to vaccination. If you or your child have no contraindications to vaccination, then it must be carried out and vaccinated children!
