Hello. I can’t say for sure, since I don’t see the whole picture, perhaps the pain can be associated with many factors, from flat feet to (possibly) neuralgia. But if you consider the typical reason that athletes face and, by the way, I also faced this problem, then the matter is most likely in weak ligaments, or in weak muscles. Weak means not atrophied or not trained at all, but muscles that simply work, overcoming their capabilities. And if short-term overloads are not able to create pain, then such loads for a long time are precisely the cause of pain.

The tibialis anterior muscle extends the foot and raises its medial edge. Together with the tibialis posterior muscle, it leads the foot. When the foot is fixed, the muscle tilts the lower leg forward, bringing it closer to the back of the foot. In my life I have been involved in various sports, from fencing to Muay Thai and bodybuilding, but in none of them did I feel pain in these muscles, but training in American football, where the legs (for all muscle groups, even the weakest and small) spreads a high intense load, made the pain in the tibial muscles chronic. The pain went away when these less developed muscles gained the physical strength necessary to overcome the load and became enduring enough to withstand a long workout with a variety of loads (jerk, traction and explosive loads).

In my opinion, the best way to get rid of pain is to completely rest these muscles for five to seven days, and then gradually increase the intensity of their training with a gradual increase in load. Again, during training, these muscles should be worked using different types of load, and preference should be given to techniques with a minimum working weight, for example, working with your own weight, but with a large number of repetitions.

We recommend that you do not postpone your visit to a phlebologist. Muscle pain can be associated with the vessels affected by varicose veins. Perhaps thrombophlebitis, which gives similar pain.

Hello, I need a little more information. For example, this may be the case, if you have valgus flat feet, then correction and orthopedic insoles are required. The easiest way to relieve pain at least for a while is to move the muscle attachment points away from each other (stretch the muscle) and tap with a fist or a massager.
